The holidays are nigh, and we’re counting the days left in the December to Dismember. Where’s the Tylenol?
This week, Jesse and I are joined by the editor of Yahoo! Sports’ NHL blog Puck Daddy, Greg Wyshynski. Greg talks about a variety of things, including who has the better commercials between Crosby and Ovechkin, whether the Capitals are panicking yet, whether teams should line up for goalender Evgeni Nabakov’s service, and the NHL Guardian Project. He also does a mean Stan Lee impression. He also plugs his Puck Daddy Photoshop Holiday card contest and his Sirius radio show. It’s always a pleasure to talk to Greg, and he brings the funny.
We also break down the past three games of the Kings, which were admittedly frustrating. But not as frustrating as taking a look at the Weekend Returns. We also crown a King of the Week, with a little help from LetsGoKings.com. We also talk about ESPN The Magazine’s article on shaking up sports and their suggestions for hockey. Actually, I read the suggestions aloud and let Jesse rant. We also discuss how the NHL shootout has been proven to be a complete crapshoot, according to one statistician.
