In a surprising turn of events, the Winged Wheels are playing flat.

Coming in the contest, Detroit is banged-up and won't be playing with goaltender Jimmy Howard, perennial Norris Trophy winner Nic Lidstrom, sniper Pavel Datsyuk and the giant blow-up octopus. Stupid octopus.

The Kings are anxious to get back to their sniping ways, after being manhandled by Columbus last night. I can't be the only one who feels very let down by the Kings losing to the WORST team in the league, especially during this stretch run.

I'm thinking Brad Richardson will pot a goal, as well as one from Carter and Kopitar.
