Prediction Panel: March 6 Kings at Predators

Kings' Prediction PanelTonight's game will be the first real test since Jeff Carter has come on board, the Predators are no slouch.

They have a home point streak going, and they were movers at the trade deadline. They also have Pekke Rinna in goal, who leads the league with 36 wins. They also have the league's 10th best offense and 8th best defense, and both of their special teams are good, especially their power play.

The Kings are finally out of the cellar of least amount of goals, and that may have to do with the acquisition of Carter. They now have a whopping 138, one ahead of the Minnesota Wild, who are playing an average Colorado tonight.

So the Kings brief reprieve from having the worst offense may fall tonight. Remember, they haven't had a three-game winning streak since November, and that was against Minnesota and two against Anaheim.

I think the Kings will keep it close all game, but will eventually lose thanks to a flukey goal in the third. The end result? Predators 3, Kings 2

How did your Kings prognosticators feel about this matchup? Very favorable, actually...
