THI510: Kings radio color analyst Daryl Evans
The Kings seems to be listing to port, which explains our frustrated tones this episode. So we turn to the only voice of reason in this world: Sir David Bowie. With Mike Richards gone, it seems the Kings have are heading Up The Hill Backwards. It appears there may be some Changes coming. After a discouraging start, the team must be feeling Under Pressure. There seems to be a Fascination with firing the coach, but we aren't convinced with this latest suggestion that seems to be in Fashion right now. We just long for the day to express our Modern Love for the team and until the players start scoring, Time Will Crawl. O.K., now it's just getting dumb.
This week, we are joined by another voice of reason: Kings color analyst Lord Daryl Evans. Lord Evans talks about the NHL's plan for realignment and how it might benefit the league overall. He also discusses the issue of a coaching change is fair or whether the blame should fall on the players. He also gives props to Jonathan Quick and discusses the situation with Jonathan Bernier and where he fits in overall. Also, he has an update on Mike Richards. It's a great conversation and worth a listen. (It starts around the 44 minute mark if you just want to jump ahead.)But that means you'd be skipping over the crowning of a new King of the Week. We also address the most popular theory of whether or not that change should come at the expense of Terry Murray, as well as our take on the proposed realignment of the league. I pepper Jesse with my concerns, and he torpedoes each one. In the end, he may have changed my mind. Maybe not.

Wow! Did I just hear on the podcast someone say that the major rival of the LA Kings is the Detroit Red Wings? That's ridiculous.
