It's hard to believe that Jesse and I have been doing this for five years already, but it's true. This episode marks this fifth year The Hockeywood Insider has been broadcasting all over the world.
This week, we are joined by Matt Reitz, blogger for View From My Seats and NBC Sports' ProHockeyTalk. He delves more into the Drew Doughty situation, as well as whether of not this is a make-or-break year for Terry Murray and how the Pacific Division breaks down for the upcoming season.For the first show, we break down the Kings roster as presently constituted, and yes, we discuss The Doughty Effect and how it affects the team by him not being in camp. True, most Kings fans are bored to tears of hearing about the never-ending contract negotiations between the phenom defenseman and the franchise. But to not touch on it would be wrong.

Love the podcast guys... but can you please fix the audio? I've been listening for years and I think I've been able to hear/understand about 50% of what Jesse is saying. I have to turn it up so loud to hear Jesse, Matt's voice is so loud it causes my speakers to break up. Am not exaggerating. Fix it, fix it, fix it!!!!
