THI432: Kings' playoff wrap-up, Stanley Cup predictions

The Hockeywood Insider podcastHey kids, we're ba-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-ack! After a two week hiatus, Jesse and I return to wrap up the Kings' season and take a look at the third round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

We touch briefly on the end of L.A.'s playoff run at the hands of the San Jose Sharks, and Jesse points out it's really not big of a deal. We also discuss who we'd like to see in the Stanley Cup Finals, albeit for slightly different reasons.

Then we grade the Kings' performance, with two different grading scales Jesse takes the long-range view of the development of the team, and I rate how this team rated to last year's squad.

We wrap up touching on some Kings news and talk a bit about the International Ice Hockey Federation's champion, Finland, and the funny thing that happened to the trophy when they returned home.

It's been a while, and we are separated by distance, but we bring the pain (and some Beastie Boys tunes.) Don't forget, you can subscribe on iTunes, so you can get the podcast before anyone else does. And don't forget to like the show on Facebook.
