THI423: John Hove, Chris McGowan, Greg Wyshynski

The Hockeywood InsiderThis week, we have so much show, it's amazing. So much, you may need to listen to it in several sections.

We have three (3!) guests who come on for extended chats. The first is John Hove, the Mayor from MayorsManor.com, which starts at 19 minute mark. He talks a lot about the Kings' prospects in the minors, including prospects Linden Vey, Tyler Toffoli, Jordan Weal, Brayden Schenn, Jean-Francois Berube, Nicolas Deslauriers as well as the latest call-up for the Kings, Oscar Moller. It's a good conversation with John, who really knows his stuff about the minor leagues as well as the game of hockey.

Next up, we are joined by the Kings' Chief Operating Officer Chris McGowan at the 34 minute mark. Chris has a very interesting story, working for the Kings since AEG bought the team, and has served in many capacities within the organization. He talks about the something many fans probably never considered, the business side of the game. Chris mentions the amazing passion and charity of Luc Robitaille, as well as the challenge of marketing hockey in the city of Los Angeles. He also mentions how popular the Kings website has become in this new media age. It's a different type of interview, which deals with the other side of the sport, which is refreshing.

Finally, we are joined by the editor of Yahoo's hockey blog, Greg Wyshynski at the 50 minute mark. (I told you it was long.) We ask Greg if any East Coast media knows about the extremely tight race in the Western Conference. He has a lot of great insight about the teams in the East vs. the West. He also agrees with Jesse that Jacques Lemaire should win the coach of the year for New Jersey, but only if they make the playoffs. He also talks jersey fouls with us, and expands it to the news the Kings will be wearing new jerseys next season. It's a spirited discussion with Greg, and one fans should injoy.

Don't forget, you can subscribe on iTunes, so you can get the podcast before anyone else does. And don't forget to like the show on Facebook. The Hockeywood Insider bringing you exclusive hockey interviews you can't get anywhere else.
