We Got The Jack! Johnson signs 7-year extension!!!

News came over Saturday night that the Kings and Jack Johnson are close to a multi-year extension. ESPN's, Pierre LeBrun said on the Hockey Night in Canada's broadcast that he thinks the two sides are close. He states that he thinks the deal is around six to seven years at a cap hit of $4-4.5 million per season.

ADD: Helene Elliott tweeted the deal is better than expected:
jack johnson deal is seven years, avg of 4.36 per year. $3.5million each of first three seasons, $5 million each of last four.
Certainly a polarizing figure on the roster, it looks now that my original thought Johnson was definitely heading to Hockeytown over Hockeywood was wrong. Kings fans, I can safely say this: go ahead and secure a No. 3 Kings jersey. Looks like we'll have one-half of our Dynamic D Duo for years to come.
