THI405: L.A. Times' Helene Elliott
The Kings have only played in one game since we last recorded, but that doesn't mean we take a break. (Too bad for you.) There's still plenty to talk about. We just get to discuss the Kings' second win over the Canucks, crown a King of the Week, take a look at the various "Power Numbers" from around the Interwebz as well as update some news from Hockeywood.
We are joined by the intrepid L.A. Kings beat writer Helene Elliott, who makes her first appearance of the new season. Helene shares her thoughts on a wide variety of topics, from she thinks the Kings will send down when defenseman Matt Greene returns from injury sooner than later, to whether Terry Murray is alternate Jonny Quick and Jonathan Bernier is back-to-back games. She also has some insight on why the Ducks can't seem to get right with the talent on their roster, whether it's a defensive problem or the team not buying into Randy Carlyle's philosophy. She also touches on the blindside hits and the fines levied by the league. It's a great interview with Helene, and one to give a listen to.
Don't forget, you can subscribe on iTunes, so you can get the podcast before anyone else does. It's the Hockeywood Insider: providing exclusive Kings coverage for the past four seasons.
