Hockeywood Insider: A Day Late, But Not So Short

This past week has been a difficult one. No, not for the Kings, who are riding a three-game win streak. No, our personal schedules have been tough to coordinate this past week. So we had to record another podcast on the phone.

But don't think that just because we aren't in the same room that we can't bring it. We bring it, oh, we bring it. This week, we are joined by the original Kings' Citizen Journalist, Gann Matsuda, from hockeytalk.biz and frozenroyalty.net. Gann talks to us a little about his journey of covering the Kings before the Internet, as well as touching a little bit about how his interview with Dean Lombardi was pulled out of context by some media outlets.

We also break down the Kings victories of the past week, including their impressive win against the Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena. We also crown a King of the Week, and take a stroll around the NHL.

We touch on whether we think Dean Lombardi will pull the trigger on an Ilya Kovalchuk trade, and debate whether or not the league would feel the loss of several high-profile Russian players if pushed by Gary Bettman.

Don't forget, you can subscribe on iTunes, so you can get the podcast before anyone else does. It's the Hockeywood Insider, with nine vitamins and supplements to improve your hair growth.

Call me crazy but, 2 players I love to see DL pick up.....Holmstrom from Wings and Marleau from SJ. Would cut down on scoring against and add to scoring depth.
Yep as usual, I come up with off the wall ideas.
