Hockeywood Hockerazzi: Stars flock to Staples

Soccer megastar and AEG Crown Jewel David Beckham brought his Spice kids, Cruz and Romeo, to Staples to watch the Kings take on the Nashville Predators. Some have said that AEG really doesn't care about their hockey club, and are too focused on their soccer franchise, the L.A. Galaxy. I wonder if Becks had to pay for the tickets to sit up close to the ice, rather than have AEG fork out for a suite for the soccer star. My other question is where is Victoria? You mean to tell me Posh has no desire for bloodshed on the ice. She's a good Maybe she's rather try her hand at designing a new third jersey...

Here's a match for you: country singer Taylor Swift (left, just in case you don't know) was seen at the Kings/Blue Jackets tilt with Twilight star Taylor Lautner (right, for those of you not paying attention). Apparently Swift plays for "Team Jake," which I assumed meant she was a fan of Body By Jake, and she loves to work out. But then I read that she gave a werewolf a shoutout during her monologue on Saturday Night Live, where she both waved and blew a kiss to her boyfriend, then I got it. They're both fans of Jake Steinberg. Lautner, you maybe a heartthrob to the ladies, but I'll always remember you as Shark Boy.

Here's another actor from Twilight, it's Billy Burke, who plays the Dad of Bella Swan. I thought it might be the same Billy Burke who played one game for the Regina Pats back in 1981-82, but it's not. Burke does have the best hockey sense of all three of these celebrities, as he came to watch the Kings play the Penguins.

Battlestar Galactica is the greatest TV sci-fi series ever, thanks in part to the ever-fetching Tricia Hefler, who played the smoking hot No. 6 Cylon. And if you don't know what all the hype surrounding Battlestar Galactica is, that's O.K. I don't get Twilight. So we're even. Tricia witnessed Anze Kopitar's first career hat trick against the Stars,

Finaly, how's this for an odd match? Newest Laker player Ron Artest takes in the game next to disgraced former Kings owner Bruce McNall at the home opener. It's nice to see Artest come check out some puck at his new home arena at the season opener, but don't be bringing that trash with you. And by trash, I mean Bruce McNall.

One Question: would you be writing for a website titled "Life in Hockeywood" if it weren't for Bruce McNall -- aka "trash" in your terms? Clue into reality.
