Several star sightings...

That's  what we like to see! Actor Michael Varten rocking the Kings gear during Saturday's game against the Blackhawks. Do you know what Varten and Ben Affleck have in common? Both were married to Jennifer Garner... sort of.

Everyone knows about Bennifer, the real-life marriage of Afflack and Garner. In the TV show Alias, which jump-started Jen's career, it was revealed in the season finale that her and Varten's character, Michael Vaughn, got married and had two children. They also were reported to having a relationship in real life, which ended in 2004. Another interesting note: his character in Alias... played hockey.

Most stars, when spotted at Kings games, are usually there for the visiting team. But like Drew Doughty, Varten is a fan from way back in the Gretzky years, according to his interview with Heidi Androl. It's just nice to see a star rock the Kings gear for once.

There's comedian Jeff Garlin, known for his turn as Jeff Greene, the manager of Larry David on the HBO show Curn Your Enthusiasm. Garlin is an alum of Chicago's Second City, and he's a huge Cubs fan. So, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure why he was there.

Then there's Scott Grimes, primarily known for his voice of Steve Smith on American Dad. But for me, he will always be hockey player Brian "Birdie" Burns, the disgruntled son of the mayor of Mystery, Alaska.
