In the tradition of Puck Daddy's successful Gary Bettman: Portraits in Heroism, I'd like to announce a new contest for those hockey fans who are tired of having the stalwart of internet hockey rumors bashed for no reason. Never mind the fact that he blatantly steals from other journalists, posts made-up rumors with no basis in fact, and never cops to it.

No, this is a celebration of the Anonymous Hockey Blogger, a man
so well known, he doesn't have to use his real name. A man so mighty that internet hockey bulletin boards quiver with the anticipation of the news he spews with pride every day.

This is the Eklund: Champion of Truth and Justice contest. This is where you can photoshop Ol' Blue Eyes... er... Brown Eyes... um... Smoky Eyes in the most chivalrous, courageous, dauntless, eponymous, homeric, illustrious, intrepid, powerful, radical, resolute of actions. (Or any other word in the thesaurus for heroic).

The winner will receive a modest prize, including the media guide of their choice of their favorite team, autographed by Eklund (or an incredible facsimile), and a limited edition Life In Hockeywood t-shirt. (Limited as in few have been made or sold, for that matter.)
