I still cringe when Crosby is likened to Gretzky, although I understand the league trying to market themselves like that. The NHL needs that one crossover star to give them a face. But, much like LeBron James in the NBA, he hasn't won anything.

Both the NHL and the NBA need to take a step forward and market their current crop of stars better, and not in comparision to stars for yore.
