The hottest woman in professional tennis, Maria Sharapova (or Мари́я Шара́пова for our Russian readers) was at Staples Center to watch the Kings take on the Ottawa Senators.

Honestly, my all-time favorite women's tennis player was The Swiss Miss, Martina Hingis, until Maria charged on the scene. And after I saw her 2006 SI photo spread, that pretty much sealed the deal. The thing that won me over? her nickname, Masha. What a perfect hockey nickname.

Perhaps she was on hand to watch fellow Russian, Alexander Frolov. Hey, he's 25, she's 20. It could happen, a Hockeywood romance.

I do know that she mainatains a residence in Manhattan Beach, so I'm claiming her as a Kings fan.

After this season, we'll take as many fans as we can get.
